Cancellation policy -  Please DO read

(Cancellation includes: missed buses, car breakdowns, forgetting, illness, too busy and anything else!)

Lesson cancellations

  • A pupil must give 3 days notice (i.e. 72 hours) if they are to cancel a lesson.  At the end of the 10 week course their fee for that missed lesson will either be refunded to them or, if they prefer, be put towards an extra lesson to make up for the one they missed.  This second option is subject to the tutor being agreeable to this and available to make up the missed lesson.  If not, the pupil’s fee for that lesson will be refunded.

 

  • A pupil will only be entitled to a refund or an extra lesson for a maximum of 2 cancellations per course.  They will forfeit their fee and lesson for any further cancellation.

  • If a pupil cancels a lesson without giving the full 3 days notice, they forfeit their fee for that lesson and entitlement to a lesson making up the loss.

  • If it is at all possible, rather than cancel your lesson with or without the three days notice, your tutor will try to re-arrange with you an alternative lesson providing it is possible that same week.  This is totally at the discretion of the tutor and cannot be guaranteed.

  • Any re-arranged lesson only counts in the same week.

  • Bandskills are not legally liable for the conduct of the tutor or the pupil. We cannot be held responsible for the actions of the pupil or self-employed Bandskills tutors.

  • Course notes are supplied to each individual pupil. 

  • Photocopying Bandskills courses notes is prohibited.
